Annedd Ni turns 25! Relay for Life!

On Saturday 21st June we celebrated 25 years since the building was officially opened!

Over the years what Annedd Ni offers has changed in line with what the individuals who come to us want; we offer a wide variety of different skills sessions, but also a lot of social opportunities too! If you have an idea of something you'd like to see us offer, please get in touch with Rachel!

Annedd Ni started with funding from the National Lottery which purchased and refurbished the building, and provided us with our climbing wall and equipment for outdoor walking and climbing groups too. We continue to use the climbing wall each Monday evening, and on a Wednesday we have our walking group going out in the community too.

Annedd Ni now has 2 activity rooms offering music, art and craft, life skills and social sessions, as well as attending events locally and having links with Pontio and Franwen now too, alongside our outdoor sessions!

It was quite fitting therefore that on the day of our 25th Anniversary a group of 10 of us joined the Cancer Research Relay for Life at Treborth Athletics Track. It was a soggy start, but just before we started walking the sun came out and we had a brilliant afternoon taking our baton around the track, raising money for a cause close to many of our hearts and completing an amazing 96 laps, which equated to around 360,000 steps between us all!
